I have been reading the forum for a while and decided to build a T. I have started accumulating parts. Ordered a Big Boy body from Ron. Ordered a rebuilt 9 inch Ford Posi with 411 and disk brakes. Got the rear coil-overs, complete front end and an aluminum radiator. On the hunt for a 700R4. Got a junkyard 350 that runs, (needs a rebuild).. anyway, have to start somewhere.

Welcome from St Louis, Jimmy! As you already know, there's a lot of info and help available here. A good running 350 is all that's needed in a lightweight car like a T-bucket.;)

Welcome from the US Virgin Islands, where it's 365 days a year of T weather, (well except for the hurricanes)

I just ordered a TCI 700R4 package from Summit last week myself.

Lots of guys prefer the TH350, but I wanted the choice to go with a really low rear gear ratio for a scarey vicious launch, and have the OD and lock-up for normal cruise RPMs.

Welcome aboard,

Darlene

Thanks all. Appreciate it. I am sure I will be back on with questions once this show gets rolling. And I know how important pictures are, so I plan to post them when I get started.

Well, had a little problem with the site. Might have caused it myself but now have a new identity. Kind of like a superhero. Got the steel for the frame. Had the wheels and tires delivered. Picked up some stainless steel Lake pipes. Drove by RPM and looked at my Big Boy Body (I am not too fat by the way), met Ron. Good guy.

Okay . . . now your job is to put 10 messages together so you can post pics! Just respond to everything; one word comments like 'cool' count as messages.
