A dash is a personal thing in your car which will depend on the theme/looks of it and the gauges you choose. It can be made of most materials and easy or hard as you wish for with your talents and tools.
Gerry made his with fiberglass and a mold he made and some have the fiberglass recessed dash from TP or CCR. For a daily driver that will sometimes be caught in weather or a show car per/se', pick your poison but be realistic to what the looks and performance will achieve with the way you use the car.

If you go to the NTBA web site and look under Gallery, you will find pictures of over a thousand T-Buckets past and present to admire and get suggestions from.
I have always been amazed at how different each car is in retrospect to Henry Ford's original Model T.
Some are present members and some are past members and some never members but are welcomed any way and anyone who has a T-Bucket and they built it themselves should be proud to own it and show it to all.

Dash picture.jpg Here's another version w/ connecting rod big end steering column dropdown and Intellitronix digital gauge panel. Plan to use the small end of connecting rod for 12V receptacle drop down.
Wiring not completed yet but moving along.

Nice looking dash Dezolde. I tried a digital dash in a roadster once and had issues reading it at times. Looked great at night tho.

Spirit cars has this nice insert for only $45.

What I would like to give a try to is something I saw on the show Texas Metal and Bitchin Rides, their interior guys are talented to say the least.

They make a basic structure either out of wood, steel wire or pretty much anything to create an imagined shape, cover that with fleece fabric or cardboard and coat it polyester resin, with cardboard you use that in place of the fleece and go directly to mat. Let that cure and then apply a few layers of fiberglass mat to the hardened fleece, bondo sculpt it to perfection and either paint or wrap in fabric. Sky's the limit, very cool!
