Raidmagic's build thread.

Hi raidmagic. AWESOME ?? I guess i have my moments. Your enthusiasm makes me fell all "warm & fuzzy" inside. Does this forum have a PM function ?

It now steers! Finished up the steering column and all connections. Started on the brake placement. Pedal hits the column. I think I'm going to cut the pedal down some and hope I don't miss the extra pedal pressure. If I move it back the master goes under the trans crossmember and I won't be able to remove the lid

Ideas?

I cut my pedal arm off its mount below the floor board and welded in a section of steel that spaced the arm sideways about an inch or so. The welds below the floor board don't show and kept me from having to re-chrome.

I purchased a brake assembly from R.P.M (swing pedal style) & a 1974 Chevy Impala brake pedal (equipped with an auto trans) from Ebay. Then i welded the 2 pedals together

I've about got it worked out but haven't had time to be out in the shop. Maybe I'll get some shop time tomorrow

Been a while fellas. I'm still here and building. I had some rough stuff go on in my personal life and shop time wasn't happening. I've got the wiring 80% done, engine assembled and primed, working headlights, taillights brake lights, blinkers. Gotta put the fuel line in and then gonna start it for some motivation. Need to plumb brake lines.

All of my pics are to big to upload so I'll put them on another site an Post them from there

Just a reminder . . .
