Hey everyone, I had to sell my classic Corvette last week to pay for my daughter's wedding. To relieve my pain, I want to fulfill my long time desire to build a t bucket. I joined to learn from the guys who know everything t bucket.

Thanks. I'm on a budget chopped top, what's the best way to find a t bucket project? It's still winter here, nothing much going on with internet classifieds.

I'm still getting familiar with this site, would member projects for sale be in the classified forum?

That is the best place to start. Is a kit out of the budget? There is also a Facebook group named t bucket buy and sell or trade. Try that

Pushrod,
Look in the classified section. My T Bucket is for sale. Take a look . If you are interested let me know. The price is negotiable.

Welcome from the Great State of New Mexico..........Where are you located and how far do you want to travel to retrieve this Bucket?.....I know lots of questions but there needs to be some direction here........LOL......I think the best way to start a bucket is find one like the one above and make it into your style.....That may also be the cheapest way.......

Neshkoro, your T is pretty much the way I would want mine, problem is, it's way too nice for my budget. That thing would sure look good in my garage.

I'm in northern Ohio, I'm looking as far as surrounding states.

You're about 400 miles from me. A bit of a ride. If you are interested, maybe we can work something out.

That car would be worth the travel, but I'm only good for 5k, I don't want to insult a fellow car guy.

Hello from central Ohio! Watch Craigslist, etc... I bought my bucket off of that site. It's a project, but many good components including a 67 427 t10... guy had health issues and had to cut it loose. There are deals that pop up, be ready. Of course, imho building them is as much fun as anything... or rebuilding in my case.

I'm wasting a lot of time these days searching the internet for something in my price and skill range. I must be too impatient, I need to settle down and wait for the spring car shows and swap meets.

Don't give up, Pushrod. Keep the funds handy, and the right one will come along, probably when you least expect it! And for various reasons, local is probably the best bet. Hang in there . . .
Just came across this on fb. Possible?
