What is the best way to fix a chip that is into the fiberglass ?
It's about 1/4 " round. And can touch up paint be used over it ?

Counter sink both sides. Wrap about 1/4” of tape around a board and then wax paper put that on the inside then use Bondo to fill hole body work and paint. The board with tape gives a little squeeze out the wax paper keeps it from sticking. Good luck.

I cover the hole on the inside by sticking a small piece of fiberglass or fiberglass drywall tape over it with either resin or body filler. When that dries it creates a stop so that you can fill the hole from the outside without having stuff squeeze out.

Sorry about my bad description. Its a chip through the paint into the fibers
Not completely through the glass. Not sure how to mix such a small amout
Of resin.
