My ProjecTee

Still installing the headlight / shock mounts & working on the roof. The weather is still very nasty. The wind was blowing pretty hard today , so I couldn't do any welding. Maybe tomorrow the wind will be gone. I also did some more sanding on my rear window recess buck. It's almost ready to glass.

Where did that windshield frame and supports come from?

The windshield frame came from Ron Pope Motorsports. It fit the aftermarket windshield posts I had purchased from Speedway Motors. I switched the aftermarket posts to original model t windshield posts. The poor fit was NOT caused by Ron Pope. It was caused by ME. So , I will narrow the windshield to make it fit . I chopped the windshield & roof 4"s. And i plan to widen the doors by 4"s or 5"s.

That top is coming along nicely.

I began glassing the buck for the rear window recess. So far , I laid two 2 1/2 oz. mat on the flat top. I still need to glass the edges ( half round sides ). Rain is supposed to return on Tuesday 3-19-19 & continueDSCN0542.JPG until the beginning of the following week.

I finished glassing the rear window recess buck. The rear window buck is lying beneath the finished recess . Now , I need to trim the edges & glass it to the roof.DSCN0544.JPG DSCN0545.JPG DSCN0546.JPG

It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow. I'll try to get it glassed in. Temps have been in the low 70's on the sunny days in March. Great glassing weather. Then , back to more rain & cold temperatures on Friday.

That's really coming out nicely

Looks like good shoulder and head room . . . . how does it seem when you sit in it?

Hi Spanky ; I plan to shorten the long overhang. My roof was made by Spirit Cars for their extended t bucket. Their t bucket is lengthened between the dash board & the back of the bucket. RPM's t bucket is lengthened from the cowl to the firewall. This problem is an easy fix. I've already begun correcting the back of the roof that doesn't match the contour of the t bucket body. Everything's looking good. I'll take photos when I finish the correction.
