Status . . . ?

ORF lives on a small lake, so I doubt he can get across the spillway today. No problem
where I live. Not sure about crzyt.

Here in the Tulsa area we had lots of tornado activity, but were more fortunate than some in the surrounding towns. Lots of wind and rain last night and this morning, but no damage at my casa.
I think maybe Jetmech up in Claremore was in one of the more troubled areas. Hope he and his are okay.

I was able to get out this AM but my extra hour for trip in was 45 min. short. They worked me in. Ends up the I-40 expressway was flooded out and I had to go surface streets this’s the extra travel time. Spillway was a foot deep but wife’s Jeep was up to the challenge!

I thought it was nearly that deep last week, so I thought there would be no way you could
get out today. Guess that's what I get for stinking thinking again!

Spanky, are you near any of that bad stuff happening in MO? Hope you're OK.

Short answer is NO - I'm OK, thanks for asking. There was a tornado touch down in Jefferson City that did some damage, and east of us in Illinois, but nothing but rain in St Louis.

You're right about Joplin. I think it was part of the same system that hit Jeff City. I heard there were three deaths in Joplin.o_O

Trust all are safe with these Tornadoes that are terrorising the place over there. Looking at the news on the iPad it's pretty scary.
Regards,

Another tough night for weather. Bad tornado in El Reno, OK. Hey Indycars, you guys doing all right? El Reno took the hit, just a little due west from where you are, correct?

I’m ok. El Reno is 20 miles north. Indy is at the race but no problem in Yukon. Some bad stuff in El Reno. Prayers are needed. Thanks for your concern Spanky.
