I picked my T up 2 months ago yesterday and it has been a project i will never forget ,owner died 10 years ago and family new nothing of what he built into this car .
So I know i have a 350 /350 trans by the numbers , and have found out many parts are 1967 Chevy Chevelle . it has a 10 bolt Chevy rear end , As for the front end I will post pictures to see if anyone can figure what it is , I did post the from Drum and hub in a different area , will re-post here as well

I am waiting on chrome covers for the center of the white spokes , adjusted the breaks this morning stopping almost perfect now its too hot to take it out , will be a morning car till October next have to dig out old timing light and try setting the timing , starts good cold but warm its a little slow turning over

I went looking for my timing light found it hasn't been used in 40 years the little spring looking thing that goes on the spark plug is missing it's an old Penske

I can remember those, yea it must be 40 years old alright!

Sweet looking ride!
I can't tell from the pics what distributor or ignition system it has, but keep in mind that if it's got a multi-spark control box, you'll need to use a multi-spark compatible timing light to get accurate results.

its a old school system

The timing was above the scale 12-16 I think , turned her back to 8 degrees going to go for a ride this morning while it's still cool see how she runs at that setting , am having one problem the low beam is too dim , high beam is perfect I tried adding a second ground thinking that was the problem and it didn't make any difference. The main switch is new and the car was doing this with the other switch also , next going to replace the relay . Otherwise I am all done with my car , ya right I am sure I will find things to replace along the way

I added relays to my headlights, shortened the power lead and only switched the relay load and it really helped my headlights.

Make sure you have the headlight plugs wired properly. Sounds like the wrong wire in the socket is going to ground.

I have noticed looking at wire mess under the seat , only have a relay for the high beam , more of a problem I have is pulling to the left when I put the breaks on , if you are applying them slow it's not bad but if you need to stop in a hurry it pulls to the left , I have adjusted them several times thinking tighten up on the right side doesn't seem to help any ideas? , all wheels did bleed very good , new master ,

How are the brake pads? Any contamination on them? Is one of the brake lines in the front pinched? Anything interfering with one of the calipers operating, like a bleeder in the way or such?

I had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago. I tried adjusting away the problem. No luck. It turned to be a very small leak in the wheel cylinder on the side that was pulling. New wheel cylinders and new shoes took care of the problem. Napa to the rescue. Total for the parts were ~$60.00. Not bad. The old shoes were like new except for the brake fluid on the left set

I will pull that hub tomorrow I was thinking the same thing something in that left wheel , as for contamination everything looked new when removed but that was 3 months ago thank you for your ideas I haven't been on the main road yet due to this problem,

Spanky I will remove the left front tomorrow, thanks for the advice it's always appreciated Guy

Could be many things. As Spanky said, dirty shoes or a pinched line. Could be a glazed drum, shoes on backwards, leaky cylinder, air in the lines. That’s all I can think of right now. Good luck. Sometimes the things you think are going to be easy become a pain in the neck.
