My ProjecTee

My tranny cooler came in Thursday. I almost have it installed. Friday was cut short due to the shop owners 2:30 p.m doctor's appointment. Just a few minutes more & I would've had it installed.

I bought it from an e-bay seller. I still have to change the straight brass barbs to 90 degree barbs.

The threaded holes are located on the passengers side. Same side as the cooling line fittings on the tranny.

I took a break from the dashboard work & shortened my pickup bed from 20"s to 16"s. Right now it's just epoxy glued together. I'll glass it in on Monday.

Probably a good idea . .

Sometimes a little break to work on something else let's you come back with a fresh set of eyes and a fresh objective perspective.

Staying focused is one thing, but if focus turns into tunnel vision, then that's not so good . . . .

Waiting to see how the bed comes out

Been there done that and wish I would have gone fishing. Started working on my top a year ago and had to put it down before a made a major mistake. Didn't work on it all winter. This spring I got the itch and things started to flow. I.G. hit the nail on the head. Keep working and posting. I'm enjoying our build.

Maybe the next thing i build will be an ARK ! 5" rain in the past few days and still trying to give us more

These photos show the pickup bed inside & out & the pickup bed lid ( cover ). I removed 4"s from the side of the bed & 4"s from the cover. The cover's pieces are fitting back together real nice.

I use a lot of gorilla duct tape , it's a great release agent. It also holds better than regular duct tape.

Thanks for the compliments Spanky. The bed cover has been epoxied & i'll let it sit overnight to completely set up. I finished glassing the inside of the bed. The bed is also sitting overnight. I used black gorilla tape to cover the screw heads & the wood braces. As you can see , I staggered the cut.DSCN0667.JPG

I glassed in a piece of wood to correct the sagging situation with the bed cover. I'll also used the wood to attach my hinges.DSCN0668.JPG DSCN0669.JPG The glassing isn't finished yet. I'll add more mat next Monday 7-22-19.

I'm also installing 4 50's chevy tail lights on the back of the bed . It's epoxied in place , waiting to be glassed.
