Pepper towels work good had to use them few times , but that's over for me last weekend at the car show a man made me an offer on my bucket next day paid me cash , so right onto eBay looking for my next classic,
I bid on several cars and I won a 1979 Chevy Z28 one owner car , I will still be on here as long as they don't kick me off for not owning a T Bucket thinking all the crap I went though can help someone else, love you guys !!!

I too have numerous other classic interests. If only I could get life to cooperate and let me get back to wrenching on them. Best of luck with your next build! Congrats on selling your bucket.
 
Sweet Guy! On to the next project now. I never get attached to my projects either. Money talks and the next one will always be better. Enjoy!

It was very unexpected, always wanted a 1980 Chevy Z28 had one new in 1980 and didn't think I could ever afford one they are selling from $15-28000 will post a picture soon
 
Where did you mount your antenna? Is it in the bed under your cover or under your dash? Does it need to be mounted in the open?

I have an old GM tilt steering column, and I put the antenna on top of the little hump that houses the turn signal on the let side of the column. I just used Velcro. Works great! And, yes, the mfr recommends mounting it in the open.
