Gary49 building my first hot rod

Is it possible for the administrators to remove all of the extra postings from my screwed up attempt at posting a video?
Thanks.

Hello, Gary

I was wondering if you could show me what you did with those ugly heater core inlets and outlets on the water pump?

Not sure if you've seen my 27 build here but Spanky told me to talk to you about the LS engine in a t.

I'm sure I'll come up with some more questions along the way.

Thanks

Greetings Yeti,
Those fittings are pressed in. What I did was took a big pair of Channellocks and twisted them out. Then I ran a pipe tap in the holes and put flush plugs from Summit in the holes.

I don't have my T going yet, but I do ride my bike. I don't like riding below freezing ( puddles become ice stating rinks) but a heated jacket works wonders, just plug it into a receptacle and you're warm. I think with the seats and jacket, it would be great in a T.

Back in college in late '80s, my only transport was a Kawasaki 650 CSR. I was dating a girl who lived about 15 miles away, and often the winter temps were in the 20's. One evening, I had to turn back to my apartment when the rain was freezing to my helmet shield. I don't know if a heated jacket was a thing then.

Youth and hormones made for some interesting and not-always-wise choices. Now-a-days, heated seats are almost a necessary luxury, and I will likely have heated seats in any future rides I build or buy..

Great video, Gary! Sounds like you have the typical T-bucket malady from a standing start - wheel spin. I have to 'roll' into the throttle a bit to minimize this with mine. So, were you prowling for Mustangs?

Music to my ears !!!

Yeah, I have one stuck in my throttle body. Lol

Well, I'm still riding around in the T and the airplane is 80% finished but today I ordered a '32 three window coupe body. I'm going to use the drivetrain from the T in the coupe. I've always wanted one. It won't be ready to pickup until May or June but I'll work on the frame until then. I'll drive to Missouri to get it and save a bunch on shipping. Take care.
