My ProjecTee

Great to see a picture with more of your project in view. Looking good! Bet you can't wait to get it on the road.

PS - I assume that's a dummy engine block . . .

Having a passenger door is a great thing. I wish I had one on my bucket. Between having no door and having a top, it does become a challenge climbing in or out. I love the top and the way it looks. I just don't like how it impedes entry and exit. I'm not a fan of the door hinge design. I know it's the standard Model T or Model A style hinge. That would be a fun project to try and incorporate the modern style hidden car hinges to a bucket.
Another project for another time!

Hi Spanky ; that's a dummy block ( for reference purposes ) . Hi Neshkoro ; the model t's upper & lower hinges are ONE hinge. Hi Choppedtop ; I plan to push out the top of the body & brace it in place ( the area below the roof ). Then i will raise the lower corner of the door well. I originally recessed that door well corner ( when i had it in my shop ). So , i'll try putting it back where is was before. The door got cockeyed when i lined up the area of the door located above the top hinge. When i pushed it in to line up with the body , the lower rear part of the door ( on the door handle side ) protruded out. It was an opposite reaction. I think i can do this , it seems like a minor problem to me. Thanks for all the input guys.

Yesterday i stuffed my projects original door & door well into the back of my 370z & brought it home to my workshop. I'll begin modifying the door & door well to be installed on the driver's side of my project.

When i purchased my project from Ron Pope , i purchased a big boy body with a passenger's side door. I also purchased a door kit ( door with door well ). That door kit was widened along with it's door well. I cut out the original door & door well to install the widened door & door well from the door kit. I already have a game plan for the driver's door modifications.

California is getting a lot of rain now. That puts a damper on my progress. Looks like California is finally getting a rainy season.

The 60 mm eyes are finished. I'll pay " the sheepish knight " on 2-9-21. She gave me her Paypal member's i.d. So , i'll pay her through Paypal. She has a seller's site on Etsy.

I'll probably not receive the 60mm eyes until Feb. 17th. Once i receive them i'll temporarily tape them in place & get a photo for you guys. Then they'll be stored away . Thanks for your compliment Kevinrevin.

The dragon eyes have been installed temporarily for these photos to be taken.
