Hi Folks,
Just a reminder that the Lake of the Ozarks Fun Run is just around the corner. We've got a new location this year, but things should be pretty much the same "unstructured" event your used too. A lot of folks seem to like it that way, we're pretty laid back!
We will have runs during the week that include lunch and one day a "run to nowhere" so folks can eat lunch as they see fit. We will start arriving middle of the day on Tuesday so anyone that wants to come early, you'll have company. There will be things to do on the "lazy afternoons" and of course we are now located closer to the ice cream! Runs will be determined the night before so pay attention. We will have 2 white boards, one in the hotel lobby and 1 located in the meeting room.
On Saturday , Karen Bettenhausen has been gracious enough to supply us with a Pizza and Salad dinner in memory of her husband Bob. Bob was a friend to all and deeply missed. So "Here's to Bob"!!!
Want to remind everyone, especially first timers, of the Saturday Raffle that is a ongoing tradition at the Lake. On Saturday after dinner we will have a raffle of any items you want to bring. It could be unused car parts, tools, crafts, quilts, kitchen gadgets.....etc. You get the idea. All thru the week the ladies will be selling tickets for the raffle and 50/50, you know the drill. All monies will be returned to the winners. The St. Louis and Kansas City Chapters keep none of the money. So come on out and have a T-Bucket good time. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
