    carpet

I have a Speedway Tribute 23 body. This style body has a huge transmission hump and driveline tunnel that runs the length of the body. Speedway does not make a carpet kit for this style. I tried covering it with indoor and outdoor carpet but because it had a backing I could not get it to conform...

    Hello from Minnesota

Good advice on camshafts, had a total of four go bad in two different motors, Did lots of research and I feel it is a combintion of cam hardening and/or lifters not rotating, I found the Clay Smith cams lifters are all made in America and may be the only lifter builder that can say that...

    How much is too much?

Great subject - Having built my fourth BUCKET, I have gone from highly modified to alnost stock - At 80 years old I much prefer an almost stock, smooth engine - Even stock they have more power than traction, as already mentioned - Being able to turn the key and not having to change plugs, reset...

New member looking to start a speedway build.

Bought car unassembled with a million boxes and parts. Rearend is a 7.5 GM posi unit. After building then driving the car I felt rearend gears were to low. Removed them and found 4.56. I changed it to 4.10, much better. Now I have a ring and pinion with about 40 miles on it for sale.

New member looking to start a speedway build.

Now I have to rethink my whole post. As I recall my Mickey Thompsons are no where near 33 in. Will have to measure when I get home. I think only about 27 in. or so. Maybe I was dreaming about RPM. Or better yet just enjoying my fourth build of a bucket at 79.

New member looking to start a speedway build.

Welcome from Washington State. I have a 700R4 in my bucket and love it. Car has 4.10 gear and overdrive is on a manual switch. Hiway at 65 is 1900. 350, dual quads, cam etc. so milage sucks and I am heavy on the throttle.

    Nice one

Very nice. Love stance, looks and simplicity . I agree it doesn't have a lot of bling but presents itself very good for workmanship, etc. and I am sure a pleasure to drive. Classic look for a T Bucket.

    Exhaust leak

You may look to see if the split in the extension is wide enough. On mine when it was clamped as tight as the bolt would allow it completely closed the split and pipe was still loose. Used a cutoff wheel and made split wider and problem solved. Probably not your problem but maybe should be checked.

    Getting a title

Recently got a title for my 23 T Bucket in the state of Washington. Took 4 trips to the DMV. First time car was not complete enough, although major components were there they said to bring it back when running but did not give me a list of things I needed to do to pass inspection. Second trip...
