    Finally Finished

They're not too bad if it's not windy but it does get blustery if the wind is in the wrong direction! It is good for 'wind in the hair' motoring (not that I've got much hair lol)

It was good to get it out in the sunshine... Loads of amazing cars... Must try and meet up at a show and have a chat sometime.

    Finally Finished

I do like black but as this was my first (proper) spray job, I didn't think I could get it straight enough. Bit hard to keep it clean as well! If anyone's interested there's a bit about the painting here... http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/showthread.php?56636-Time-for-Paint

Thanks, the shift knob came from one of the VW dealers on Ebay. It's worth looking at some of the VW stuff (buses) they have some pretty wacky ideas!

    Finally Finished

Thanks for all the nice comments... Yes it's going to the T party (assumming weather is ok!) Hope this picture shows the fender bracket clearer. It's been fabricated from sheet and strip, details below. It's fabricated from 40mm x 5mm strip rolled to the diameter of the hub. Three holes...

    Finally Finished

Hi Guys, It's been a while since I've been on here but I've finally finished my project. 6 years maybe too long for some but I didn't want to rush it.... I remember there being a great bunch of helpful guys on here so thought I'd post some pictures of the results to say thanks.

Hi Gerry, It was good to put a face to a name and have a chat on Sunday. Very impressed with your T, just hope it won't take too much longer to get it finished. Cheers Pete

    TPI-Tech Guages

I've had a set for about five years now and they worked fine up to last summer when I had a similar problem with the tacho. I assumed it was a bad connection to the coil and it never stayed long enough for me to track the problem down.

Gerry, I saw you car at Billing last year and it looks very cool. How much much have you done since then and any idea when it'll be finished? Pete

    Fuel Pump Mounting

Thanks guys, I sort of suspected it had to go upright but wanted to double check just in case. I'm really stuck for room (jag rear). And the chassis is quite low So I can't fit it under the floor. I might be able to put the tank back a little and put the pump and filter inbetween. I've...

    Fuel Pump Mounting

Hi Guys, I've got a Aeromotive 11203 electric fuel pump ( http://aeromotiveinc...el-pump-38-npt/ ) The installation instructions state it should be mounted upright but I can't find anwhere to fit it vertically. Is it possible to run these pumps on their side or am I asking for trouble...

    Wood work

Looks good and I see this is how most people do them. Just wondered how the uphostery is attached to the wood?

    Not much progress

A few more up to date photo's. Can't make my mind up how to arrange the instruments (I've moulded a better dash now so I'm using this one for mock up) and whether to have any switches on it.

    Not much progress

No they came from Speedway as a kit, just cut to size and weld. I'm going to get some stainless ones made eventually but wanted something to get me going.

    Manual Trans in a T Bucket +

I'm putting a Tremec 5 speed in my new ride, as previously stated there isn't a lot of room, i've got my chassis/body quite low. I can see why most go for auto's but I've never owned an auto so I wanted a manual and if every car was identical it would be boring. There's a few pictures on my...

    Not much progress

It'll be a while yet! I've got quite a bit to do before I put the electrics in. I need to finish the cockpit, sort fuel tank, mount front shocks. I've got the gauges and loom now but I'm spending more time thinking than building.
