    lke, thats all good, and technical, i can pull out a machinist handbook and point out where it says, when you tighten a bolt to torque specs you effectvely reduce its strength near 30% .. So i'll add, do you use a torque wrench? if you do you are reducing the strength of a grade 5 bolt by 30%...

    if you have a wire wheel on one side of your bench grinder you can also use that on a stainless bolt head, it gets rid of the dull look, not near polished but not the natural finish either.

    bout all i would use grade 5 bolts for would be building shelves with.. to work harden anything you have to have heat and quite a bit of it.. then you have to have a quench effect on top of it.. basicily crystalizing it.. i'm in tool and die, and i can tell you a grade 5 bolt wouldnt last...

    your correct, over the years, and the different intake manufacurers the intake angles vary alot... i used the top of the block and ened up lvling it.. also when you do your mockup, dont weld your transmount solid, just tack it, that way you can still move if needed.. a few drag cars and trucks...

    its limited slip. disk brake, and all of them were either 3.73 or 4.10 geared... you have to center them up though, cut one housing tube down and get another short side axle. if not the rearend is off center 1 5/8

    Don, give it some time.. let mike get a good red theme on this board and it'll look better, these forums load alot faster than the old forum did for me anyways.. i dont care for the light colors, i think a little darker grey and red theme, will be good.... ive always liked the invision...
