    Speedometer cable location?

I did those more than 10 years ago, and can't remember the length. Actually I might not remember if it had been last week. Nevertheless, one idea is to run a piece of wire along the path you wish to take and then pull the wire out and measure its length.

    Speedometer cable location?

I ran a cable from the trans under the body and up through the floor board just behind the firewall and hid it under the carpet that goes up the firewall. I have a cable setup in two cars, it works, but depending on tire size, gear ratio and whatever I have forgotten you may have to change the...

    Old age rant

There is a hot rod shop in Tucson named Don's Speed Shop. It has been around for ever and is still going strong. Tucson has a couple of oval track raceways and a drag strip. No doubt the size of those three audiences keep the shop going. My personal experience (your mileage may vary) has...

Hi from Houston. I have a car collection incl an almost finished Spirit T-bucket.

A short turning radius is a good idea but you might want to skip the power steering. If you can find someone with a completed bucket that will let you drive a little I think you will agree.

For Sale 9000 lb. capacity Challenger 4 post lift

I doubt that anyone here wants to drive to Yuma to get a lift, but I thought just in case I would post the lift I have for sale. It is a Challenger 4 post, extended length and extended width, 9000 lb capacity, 220 volt single phase. The model is CL4 P9W. These lifts typically have pawls that...

    A Ford in your future . . . ?

I would raise prices slightly to cash in on the panic. Emphasis on panic.

    27 T truck build

I chopped my '30 3" and channeled it 4". With the seat on the floor I have head room, but have to bend way over the steering wheel to look up and see a traffic light if I am close to the intersection. It looks mean, but really isn't that practical.

Front and Rear Tire Overall Outside Measurements

Typically I drive the rear wheels of one T-bucket all the way over the ramps and park it on the front side, just a few inches clear of the ramps, and then put the second in with its rear wheels just touching the back of the ramps. It is a tight fit, but works.

Front and Rear Tire Overall Outside Measurements

I fastened the side toward the middle of the trailer down to the floor, and fastened the side above the fender wells to the wall. This was done simply because I never planned to remove the ramps. I don't see why you couldn't make the ramp structure self-supporting and removable. You just might...

    Mykk's BMW V8 T-bucket, version 1.5:

I like the idea of shortening the frame so that the spring perch, etc. is directly in front of the grill shell, but not giving up the tank. It can be mounted with its center directly over the axle or even slightly forward. I have a picture of a similar setup if you would like.
