Steering Box Location
I see you have the biscuit type motor mounts. If you added a 1/2 inch spacer under them and a 1/2 inch spacer under the transmission you may have enough room.- eggy

More questions about wandering
I have about 7 degrees of caster and >1/8 toe in. It works very well. RPM sold me parts recently to freshen up my reversed corvair box. Adjusted correctly you will have no play in the gearbox. It will steer beautifully. If you get a left or right drift change the caster a half turn at a...- eggy

Windshield Questions
I cut my channel 3/8 inch. The glass shop loaded it with black pookie and set the glass. It gives it a very small amount of flex. 18,000 miles so far with out any problems except..... The glass laminate separating on one side of the top edge. No fault of the mounting. -

Can I get some input on my build....
I have 120 inches and like it. If you are going to put miles on it the longer wheel base will give a better ride.- eggy

gas mileage on t's????
I have a 350/350 in mine with a 2.88 RE and 30" tires. I run a mild cam and an Eidelbrok 750 carb. I just got back to Canyon Lake, TX from Lenoir, NC about 2600 miles. I got about 20mpg running 75+ mph most of the way. I use premium gas. My compression is about 10:1.
