    Update on the Willy's bucket

Tell the wife it won't sound as noisy with ear plugs. Or you could be mean and say something like, "I can barely hear it run after you get done yapping in my ear." :goof:

    Classic car few have seen

Not bad looking. I've always liked the 1950ish Buick Wildcat II. http://www.khulsey.com/stockphotography/stk_buick-wildcat-II-concept-car.html They sure had creativity back then.

"topless waitress donut shop" Hold on just a minute... is that a place where pasties meet pastries? :)

    Misc bucket pictures

I love the pics, such creativity!

    Gauge lights

Any idea what the amp rating of that Speedway switch is? That is a nice neat package for a switch, providing it can handle the load.

    Gauge lights

Both trikes I built did not have a rheostat. I used a push/pull toggle switch for one trike and the other had a up/down flip switch. The touring car I'm building will have the same generic push/pull toggle switch that can be had at any auto parts store. I like my gauge lights to be as bright...

Sorry to hear about that, just said a quick prayer for your family.

    I need your help

A word of caution... watch out for those pine-plated, unobtanium smoke grinders. Consumer Reports say the workmanship on them are shoddy. Also watch out for the Chinese mahogany-plated, unobtanium smoke grinders, they are using the peel-and-stick fake wood grain.

    Drill n Tap holes

Gotta love whoever came up with using letters, whole numbers, and fractions for drill bits. Good thing for handy charts to convert that mess into decimals. :)

    Can anybody explain this?

You guys are breaking my heart. I was into trikes before I decided to move on to something new. Although trikes can vary greatly from the picture above to this:

    Can anybody explain this?

The fork needs more rake, but that's a pretty cool trike.

    Corbeau Seats

You'd better believe there will be pics when I get started in September. I'm avoiding the temptation to get a loan and cash-flowing this project. I'm building the chassis from scratch. After seeing Mr. Fixit's T-boy, he's got me inspired. So to avoid stalling out on this build, I figure I'd...

    OSHA......

There are probably websites out there to help you with your problem of needing hand rails and safety straps. :goof:

    Corbeau Seats

Thanks Railroad for the first hand experience. I wished the slider handle moved with the seat, but I guess that isn't necessary. From other places talking about these seats, they said go with the wide ones. I planned on that anyway since the bucket body is being custom made and will be wider...

    Corbeau Seats

I'll look up PRP while before I buy. The shape of your seats and the Corbeau seats in the above link are exactly what I'd like to use for the front. I don't want to go too expensive but I don't want them to look or feel cheap either. I get the feeling I'm not going to be disappointed in...

    Corbeau Seats

If you're asking me, right now none, but I'm gathering up parts to build a four person touring car. I'm really liking that Wintec Fabrication logo and thinking a blue version of that car is pretty close to what I want. The build will begin in September. I hope to have all the parts for it...

    Corbeau Seats

Is there somebody here that can speak to how good Corbeau seats are? I was thinking of using this bench seat for the back: http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/bajassbench.html And two of these bucket seats for the front: http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/65401.html But if they're garbage, I'd...
