    Oshkosh 2025

Were you there Spanky? I live about 45 minutes west of there! I’ve been to the show a couple of times years ago.

    Mykk's BMW V8 T-bucket, version 1.5:

Some years ago I had a cracked windshield. I had a piece of gray tinted Lexan. I cut it to the width I needed. The height couldn’t have been more than 10 to11” high. It looked cool but was just too short and caused a lot of unwanted crap in my face. I replaced it with a new piece of windshield...

    Rear suspension

I’m using a transverse rear spring on my bucket! It’s been going strong for 45+ years. It could ride a little smoother but it’s livable. I’ve considered changing to coil overs a time or two. Considering how long it takes me to do things these days, the bucket would be apart for a year! I want to...

    June Donations

Web Mistress, I understand what you are saying. I will keep trying to be more consistant. I hadn't thought it might upset some folks! I certainly don't want to do that. Maybe its back to the drawing board! Mike, the previous owner, used to post how we were doing each month. Good or short...

    June Donations

Web Mistress, I just made a donation. Im not asking an ata boy, I'm just saying I have a hard time remembering to donate. It's not a money issue. Its a remember-to do-it thing. I mentioned some time before that it might help to send out a friendly reminder that its time to donate. That might...

    Builds that I really miss . . .

There are times life gets in the way. Not much you can do about it!

    You're never too old . . .

That’s what gets you hooked! The sound and feel of horsepower. You step on the gas and feel yourself getting shoved back into the seat while getting a little squirrely on the road. That’s IT!

    My ProjecTee

I keep seeing those ads on Facebook. They look interesting. If they work as advertised, it would be a great addition to your shop. Can’t wait to hear how they work!

    Speedometer cable location?

I have a GPS Speedo in my bucket. It works hood. I had to replace the first one I bought as it failed. Don’t buy a cheap one. Easy hookup. 3 wires, pos, neg and light. They you screw in the antenna cable. You’re done.

Russnomore 27T truck cab? Anybody ever build one?

I had to laugh at the picture of the black body on the bare frame. Any of us that built a bucket has a picture like that! We think we’re moving along but we’re so far away from completion! And then we sit in it and make pretend engine noises and hold on to the missing steering wheel. 15 years...

    caster and rake

In my mind the rake and caster two independent things. The rake is the angle of the body or the chassis to a horizontal surface. The caster is the angle of the kingpin to a horizontal surface. The only connection to each other is if you change the rake you’ll change the kingpin angle. Once you...

    My ProjecTee

Did the grinder burst into flames or did your shirt start on fire from the flying sparks of what you were grinding?

    My ProjecTee

Sorry to hear about the horrific accident! I never knew that an angle grinder could do that. Hang in there. Healing takes a lot of time. You’ll be back at it in no time! Prayers coming your way.
