    That's some good stuff right there! Nothing like the olden golden days of Drag Racing. I know we have tons of technology today but i would rather be racing in the 70's when it was fun.

    Well guys, the bucket will be leaving for California next week. The new owner has sent the money and a auto transport will be here next week to pick it up. It was a fun build (somewhat trying at times) but overall i enjoyed it and learned some things i would do different if i ever build...

    Thanks. It is really pretty simple what i did. I used a 3/4" plywood for the base. Cut a 3" hole for the gas cap area, ran a router around the hole to dress it off. I then drilled and coutersunk (4) 5/16" bolts thru and covered the heads with thin sheetmetal to keep the bolts from pushing thru...
