    The roll bar was out of a pick up cut and welded to fit t bucket, those tires was put on to transport decause the 31x 18.5 x15 blew out when hit curb and the t bucket has posi rearend,,,,the guy that owns that tow truck does not own a hot rod but if you need a hot rod towed any time in st clair...

    The tire tracks ran about 100 ft. Straight as an arrow then took a sharp right went another 50 ft hit the curb with both pass tires, their is a video of it not very gooxd quality but it appears from the video when it shifted to 2nd. It started going right...not a mechanical problem. I think...

    Questions on stall converter?

    ,last year i had problems at stop signs with the large cam, so i put a 3600 rev max stall in this year and stroked my 429 to a 545 cu.in. it idles perfect and launches hard i have 31x18.5 x 15 pro sportsman tires 3:23 gears in a 10 bolt posi rear end and c-6 trans,,,,but i am having a ptoblem...

    Well here are some pics of the completed 23 t bucket. I plan on running it at ubly dragway in mich. At the harleys against the world weekend, i will post pics and time slips. Thanks everyone for following my 2 yr. Build, my next build will be a model A. Thank jerry for all the help we will stsay...

    Fordsbyjay in response to your post i didnt say that my cast heads were the best heads around i just said the speedshop said i had excellent heads for my build and aluminum was a waste of money for my build and he has been in business for more than 20 yrs. And i beleive him.

    You have to remember this is not a race car it is a very nice steetable engine build with power to us....a set of aluminum heads are a wast of money for my build. I cannot hook up what i have . Putting aluminum heads on would be like putting nitrous on a waste of money..

    I had a set of 1968 cast iron heads reworked by the local speedshop. I was going to go with aluminum heads but the speedshop said they could do more with the 68 heads as long as i wasnt worried about the extra weight
