    SBC motor mounts?

You don’t need rubber but yes, the stock ones with rubber are sufficient for dampening vibrations s, that’s all they use on cars, well, the transmission mount is rubber too.

    SBC motor mounts?

RPM has some, Speedway also. It just depends on what works best for your application. I’ve built and or adapted many motor mounts over time on various builds or swaps. I like to use a torpedo level on the carb base with the frame set at ride height to situate the engine, then whatever it takes...

    Track Bucket build

I have a simple bubble balancer that works just fine for low production use. Our local tire shops are finicky about mounting used tires and if they are past the date window won’t do it. I’ve mounted and balanced my own for a long time. It used to be a few bucks now it’s an investment...

    Greg’s T project

Are you using three carbs with active idle circuits on all or one primary carb with idle circuits and two dump carbs? The latter are easier to setup and pretty problem free to run long term. At least that is my experience with a tri power verses three deuces. Both setups are cool and work, but...

    Getting to the body

The webbing I used just lines the frame between it and the body and my mount bolts are situated to just mount to the frame. I was going to use rubber or urethane mounts, but it really wasn’t necessary. There are many variations available. Whatever makes sense for your build is the right choice.

    Getting to the body

I used webbing, not rubber mounts.

Interested in checking out others interiors

No pics but I customized a Chrysler minivan third row seat. It was almost perfect but required re arching the back and narrowing slightly. The re arching wasn’t necessary except I was trying to gain every possible millimeter between the pedals and seat for me to fit, so making it fit into the...

The T in my head, thoughts?

    Cool build.

    Getting to the body

I routed steel into the plywood and laminated in glass so the body mount bolts can’t pull through. I know the body is little more than a cowl, but I want it to remain attached to the chassis. I’m sure large washers would work also. Just FYI.

New member with a rat build

That’s not bad. I have projects, good ones, that have been on the shelf for much longer. Other stuff just happens and takes priority. Especially health stuff for self and family.

    Covid Project - 80's Project T-Rod

I have a considerable investment of effort and money in the steering column/gearbox/etc. I’m sure it could have been done with boneyard pieces but I was using different parts, so some ingenuity was required and ordering parts was simpler.

    My EV rant . . .

There are reports of the charging stations not being compatible with all models, they won’t plug in, and the prices are like buying fuel... I also know that the BMV adds a hiway use tax to the annual registration cost because they aren't getting the highway use taxes from fuel sales... lots of...

    Fuel Tanks

There are companies that build custom tanks out of aluminum and stainless. Not cheap. Look for a local fabricator to do it on the side if you aren’t in a hurry. Build a cardboard template with specifics and dimensions and gather up your bungs, etc, to minimize their leg work, gather the...

23 t build no longer for sale

It’s your business, but if you set a ball park price, it might help generate interest. I have compiled numerous projects over time and it’s becoming clear to me that I will most likely not get to them. I too have been thinking of just selling everything off but can’t quite do it yet. Once it’s...

    Carb throttle bases

“Mike’s Carbs” is a excellent source for quality parts and information on carbs. I’ve rebuilt many of those. I used to run Pontiac tri powers. They are very dependable, low maintenance carbs, once setup.

    Alt Bantam

Nice! I had mocked up a cardboard template for a custom fuel tank but it has gone somewhere? My T has been sitting idle for too long. Too many pressing life issues keep creeping up on me. I need a pause button for it so I can focus on my projects again.

    Windshield height

I too built a substructure that supports the door posts, windshield, dash, and cowl to the frame as well as steel inside of the rocker boxes that connect to the rear door posts and reinforcement across the kick up section. There are steel tabs welded to it all that are routed into the floor and...

o2 Sensor Headers and Exhaust question

There is no getting around the required wires and connections if you go injection. You will have to be creative in application and placement to avoid the ugly perception. Doable.
