    Brake light wiring

Thanks again for the feedback! Y'all are the best! Hey Fart, I went to You Tube and found a video from Ididit talking about the wiring in their column. Just what I needed! I wired it as they said, and it worked just great! The wire feed from the fuse block is the hot wire to the brake pressure...

    Brake light wiring

I have an aftermarket wiring harness, and there is a wire from the fuse block that goes to the brake switch. This wire provides power to the pressure switch I have in the brake line. I also have an Ididit steering column with a wire harness. One of the wires in it is labeled for the brake...

    volt meter connections

Thanks for all the input. Lots of smart folks who took the time to reply with suggestions and offer encouragement. I had another local rodder come to my rescue. He twisted up the wires and everything is cool! My problem was kinda embarrassing as I was wiring up the system as though I had an...

    volt meter connections

Tried to post a few pics, but couldn't upload them. I'm going to try running a wire from the battery terminal on the alternator to the "S" (sender) terminal on the gauge. I'll use a switched 12V terminal from the ignition switch to the gauge (and back to the starter) I'll let you know how it...

One for a ground, one for the illumination,(from light switch) one for a battery or 12v supply,(from battery terminal on ignition switch) and one from the "sending unit". Can't seem to get the wiring...

Hey Butch27, I'll take a few minutes to look at what pics I can find. If you would like, we can talk and discuss the issues I had and what I would do the next time. My number is 907-982-4186. I'm in Alaska, 4 hours earlier than you.

Butch27 ..... I may be the guy you're looking for! I did post a video showing what I did. Used an original T hinge, and oak reinforcement. Mini bear claw latch that I inset into the door frame.

    reinforcing firewall?

I have an RPM body and didn't notice this issue! I sanded down the inside of the firewall, and glassed in a straight piece of 1/2" marine grade plywood. Set about 50 pounds of weight on it and let it set up for a couple days. The front of the firewall is as straight as can be! I'm well pleased...
