    Noob getting info.

Welcome from Northern California. I'm planning to install a jag front and rear into my 1936 Nash Ambassador Six, so I'll be very interested in your jag rear if you opt to go that way.

    Introduce yourself here. ok.

Welcome from Northern California. I can't do anything about my height (6'-0"), but my T-bucket does force me to keep slim; otherwise, I couldn't fit in it! ;)

    So, why a T Bucket?

I'm guessing your message was directed to me... If so then, yup, I definitely have great memories with my dad around cars. Obviously many of those memories were from my childhood, but I also have more recent ones attending car shows with him and with my mom too -- she still owns her VERY NICE...

    So, why a T Bucket?

Back to the original question: "So why a T Bucket?" As a 10-year-old I was into building model hot rods (emulating what my dad did "full-scale") and my all-time favorite model was MPC's "Lil Evil T" -- that's what hooked me on t-buckets. About six years ago I had started saving up cash...

    Another Nor-Cal guy

How it looked when I first saw it at my friend's house. At the time I was planning to build a T-bucket, but when I saw this car I just had to have it! Sitting in my garage. Those Jaguar wheels underneath it are just set in place; it still had the stock suspension under it at this point...

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

I checked Avon tires; while they do have skinnier radials the closest I could find (Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America » 3D Ultra Sport) requires a 3.5" minimum rim size. I appreciate everyone's suggestions, though.

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

As you noted, the Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra tires are described as steel belted radial tires under the general description. But if you click on the "All Size" tab in the "Dimensions" section you will see that some of the sizes include an "R" for radial (e.g., 180/60 R 16 M/C 74H TL), some...

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

While Coker does make a variety of tires for hot rods and classics, they don't tires that will fit my motorcycle rims.

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

While some sizes of the Metzeler 888 are available in a radial, most are bias ply. I checked numerous sites for the 130/90-16 size and some indicated it is a bias (reinforced) tire while others (including Metzeler's) didn't specify either way. I just called a local motorcycle shop that carries...

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

I took a look at the Metzeler tires but they don't make radials in a small enough size to fit my narrow wheels. I searched other tire manufacturers again with the same result; no one appears to make radials to fit my wheels. I guess it's time to give up on radials for the front and just go...

Radial tires for 16x3 Hallcraft wheels?

Thanks, 409T, for the info. Any recommendations for radial-rear/bias-front combos that have worked well for others?
