Speedometer cable location?
Looks like we didn't directly answer your question, except for 409T. I tried using the cable for my TH 350, and ran it thru the top of the transmission hump and back to the cable entry port. Gearing was wrong and I drove for awhile with an RPM/MPH conversion chart taped to the dash. Finally went...- Spanky

This raises a question: is it possible for an "old school" speed shop to make it in today's economy? What if you opened such a shop in a major metropolitan area and staffed it with retired gearheads who know their stuff, and let it be known throughout the community that this is the go-to place... -

So, Mykk . . . what's missing? Could it be that the original vertical grills were surrounded by a metal frame? Notice in my replica grill there is a chrome piece that surrounds the vertical bars. Just a thought.- Spanky

Welcome from St Louis. Short turning radii are not usually associated with straight axle front ends, but there are some things you can do to improve that. Spindles adapters
Say Houch, I know this may seem to be "apples & Oranges" but looking at the Chevy spindles on Speedway's pages the mounting surfaces look similar to what you have on your modified Ford spindles. What do you think?- Spanky

SBC motor mounts?
This is my setup. The mounts are actually small sections of rectangular tubing welded to the frame with a piece of round tubing welded on top to accept the stock GM motor mount through-bolt.- Spanky

My back-door neighbor just bought a new Ford Expedition and loves it. But his wife hates it! It has no owner's manual; everything is accessible only through the dashboard touchscreen and she's computer illiterate! 😄
