Some of the so- called "founders" on this site occasionally insult new members questions or comments. Granted, everyone's knowledge of the t bucket hobby is not that of a Norm Grabowski, but that's why folks become members on a site like this. It does nothing for the hobby to be rude to guys...

    Welding class

What ever gives you the best penetration. I'm more comfortable with stick welding, but I only have a small flux core MIG.

Just finished welding my frame, need help with bracket questions

Your scrub line is usually the lowest point on your bucket that would hit if you went over a big bump or hole. I'm sure somebody will explain it better.

    My ProjecTee

Coming along nicely, I gotta wait for warmer weather to do a little more fiberglassing as well. It's in the 20's here, my propane heater can only get the garage near 40 when it's this cold.

    Master cylinder mounting holes

Mungo, you may already have this picture, it's all I could find on Speedway's master cylinder location.

.Each year the CDC (Center for Disease Control) tries to predict (about 6 months prior to flu season) which types of flu are most likely to be the most infectious/acute/prevalent in the upcoming flu season. They choose 5 flu viruses and make up the flu shots based on those 5 only. There are many...

Not much progress to report these days, I've had the killer flu since the day after Christmas. I'm still not 100%, but managed to drop off my windshield to the glass guy this morning. I hope to get back in the garage next week.

My winter project goals lately have been to do something on the bucket daily, even if it's small. The windshield frame is ready for glass, some of the gauges are in the dash, the radiator shell is ready for paint and the gas tank has been mounted.

The USO has a "Comfort Food" meal program for deployed military, Johnson & Johnson matches your gift. I went that route, all is good.

    Slooow Going

The old 302 is looking good Snicklefritz, parts collecting was the adrenaline that got my project in high gear. Keep making progress, pal.

So far, no response. I really thought one of the many "old farts" on this site would have a grandchild deployed somewhere. I'll contact the USO later today if I don't hear from a site member.
