    Just another bucket build

Thanks. Didn't have any time this weekend to do anything with the bucket. What little time I had was spent replacing the radio and speakers in my daily driver. Hopefully during the week I can sneak an hour or two in.

    Just another bucket build

Ok, I'm starting a build thread for my bucket. Hope this is the right spot. Long time lurker. I've been collecting parts for the better part of 20 years now, nothing done yet. Here's what I have so far (that I can remember): RPM Big Boy Body; Model A rear crossmember with low rise speedway...

    Fiberglass supplier

That's a possibility. I'm looking at Spirit and Cromwell right now. I asked RPM because I got my body from him.

    Rear spring mounting

Thanks everyone. I didn't get an opportunity to spend any time in the garage this weekend, long honey-do list. I'm hoping to get some time this week. I do have the CCR plans, along with tons of other info I've gathered. I'm not doing the typical thing, hence the A crossmember and mid rise...

    Rear spring mounting

I am in the process of mocking up my T. Dumb question: how do I go about installing the rear spring? I have a model A rear crossmember and a Speedway mid rise spring and am using behind axle mounts. How do I go about figuring out where the mounts weld to the axle?

    T body types

RPM has their extended and big boy 23 body for the extra cowl length. I have the big boy, love the looks.

    T Bucket Newby

If you're going to fabricate your own frame, then just use the A frame. Use 2x4s to rough out your dimensions then start modifying the frame. I'm looking at doing that with a 35 Chevy frame. Either way it's yours, just my opinion 👍

Music in the Shop..... Must Have???

I have a radio from the early 70s that belonged to my great aunt; I received it when she passed 20 years ago. That radio has been in my garage ever since. I wired extra speakers into it and have them spread out across the garage. No stereo, just simple music. I enjoy it. Also has an 8 track in it.

    3/8” battery impact driver

I use Rigid, out performs my dewalt (which I gifted to my brother-in-law). The batteries last forever! Plus add-on tools are usually on sale at the depot

    Fastbacks

Here's mine, 1951 Chevy Fleetline. Sorry for the bad pic, just got the car for my wife while I build my T. The car is a project, hope its on the road very soon.

    Iconic abuse

I agree 100%. I grew up reading articles that Gene wrote and that were about Gene and his work. He is a legend. I'm keeping him in my prayers.
