No, the paint is the same.....it actually is an unscathed 40 year old paint job.....I'm leaving it. I'll do some pics after the top comes in and I install it, but generally everything thing else has been redone, replaced or corrected.- Texfed

Bubble balancer
That's all there was when I was growing up......a bubble balance will do an excellent job. -
Cooling 302 Crate Engine
Ignition timing can increase engine temp......so can carb set up and also spark plug type. If the timing is too advanced it will run hot...this also applies to what your advance curve is set at. If the carb (or carbs) is running to lean your temp can go way up! You can burn valves with real...- Texfed

Entry Step fabrication
OK, I'm new and I got tired looking......so I'm asking! I am unhappy with the step/assist to get in the bucket.....I'm pretty sure a bunch of ya have devised some nice steps. I really need to be able to bolt it to the frame as opposed to welding it. Any pics to end my dilemma would be... -

1 wire alternator
I put a 1 wire 100 amp "tuff stuff" alternator on the volt meter smiled and it was good. You don't need a 100, but the cost difference for a standard lower amp one is minimal.....so I went for it.
