    Spammers . . .

Yea I wasn't trying to get him kicked out since I wasn't 100% sure but just wanted to warn everyone. It is odd he was a member since September 26, made his first post in late October then came back in February. It's a shame we have to be so cautious now.

    Spammers . . .

I did some digging and found the ad where he took the photos from on the Hamb. I couldn't attach a screenshot because it was too big. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1923-ford-t-bucket-fiberglass-w-laid-back-windshield-posts-radiator.1292429/ I tried messaging him back to see if...

    Spammers . . .

Pretty sure the member Cobramech is a scammer as well even though he created an intro thread. Now I can't say this 100% but there is a lot of red flags. I guess he saw the wanted post I did for laid back windshields posts and sent me this message which didn't quite make sense "decently used"...

    Please reach out . . .

Get well soon bud! I recommend listening to some hot rods and any video of front engine dragsters switching from alcohol to nitro. It always warms my soul when I hear that change over. For the eager ones 2:00 is just before the change over haha

Wanted 23 T laid back windshield post mounts

Looking for a pair of the laid back windshield mounts for a 23 t body. It's weird no one produces them anymore. At least I couldn't find anywhere.

    3/8” battery impact driver

I went with a Porter Cable and like it a lot. We had Porter Cable tools at work and my boss was a caveman and would use the power tools as hammers haha yet they held up so I figured it would be fine for my needs haha.

    Track Bucket build

I highly recommend it especially if you have some vintage events nearby! It was a lot of fun! There are more and more dirt drag events popping up too which is another place to have fun with your vintage bucket with some friendly competition.

    Track Bucket build

It was! I wish I had enough property to make a track so I could do some laps whenever I wanted.

    Nostalgia Drag Race

All my land speed friends joke about not needing brakes as they only slow you down!

    Nostalgia Drag Race

Sounds like it would have definitely been a handful

    Nostalgia Drag Race

Took the bucket on the dirt track again earlier this month. Had a blast!

    Track Bucket build

So I made some temporary hood sides out of metal I cut off an old filing cabinet so I could have some protection at the dirt track. Will add more videos when I get a chance.

    Old timey . . .

Thanks @Spanky It's a blast! I still need to work on resizing the photos from my last race so I can share them here. Fingers crossed the weather cooperates for Oct 5 and I will go have some fun on a dirt circle track.

    Nostalgia Drag Race

I will get around to posting photos eventually it's just a pain when they are always too big to upload and having to go through a resizer site

    Track Bucket build

Don't know haha. Will be a learning process for sure. I will talk to some friends at the race Sunday who have made their own hood.

    Track Bucket build

Messing around with ideas for a hood. I will definitely have to make the hood first and then cut and fit the hood sides so they line up with the hood.

    Track Bucket build

I'll try but hopefully I will make it pretty far into eliminations which unfortunately means less time for photos. Maybe I will try digging up one of my old go pro cameras and see if I can get it working.

    DIY wheel center

Cool I will keep my eye out if i'm at any junkyards. I want 15s as I have tires for those right now. I already have a set of 16" 5 on 5.5" wheels with taller tires.

    DIY wheel center

I thought about them but it was going to be more expensive than a set of wheels the right width and bolt pattern. It's fine I have some wheels that I made work. I'm sure the junkyard that had the VW wheels would have wanted way too much anyway, they want way too much for everything there.
