    you have a #1 ground coat which is generally your metallic base color, then you have a #2 tinted clear/tinted binder coat which gives it the "candy" depth and then obviously you have #3 clear.

    It is a 3 stage paint, probably the closest to a true Kandy color without going with House of Kolor. It is not that difficult to spray, just an extra step in the process It is definitely a beautiful color!

    why doesn't anybody run a mechanical fuel pump anymore? seems like a lot less to go wrong and quite capable of handling what most of us are driving.

    Absolutely. The small switch could break, the wiring could get corroded or it could just fail from poor build quality. I always keep an extra one or two around as security

    I would see if you can get specs on the cam and then get a degree wheel to set it up properly. I wouldn't want to put a cam in without knowing it was done 100% right...too much collateral damage if not

    Gas Tank Sealant / Coating suggestions

    there is a product I used with great success when I was building custom motorcycles. I am not sure how much you would need to do a bucket tank but one kit would be more than enough to do a 5-6 gallon bike tank. It is called Kreem and you can get it at jpcycles.com
