Here are a couple of pictures of my project. I have picked up a windshield and have a bed that's not in the photos.20121213_114433.jpg 20121213_114449.jpg 20121213_114433.jpg 20121213_114449.jpg

I recently acquired this t bucket project. I think it is a speedway chassis I'm not sure about the bucket. Someone did some weird things to it such as moving the engine. back 6 inches. It has a rack and pinion on it i'm still trying to decide the best way to get it connected to the collum. I believe it has a 305 and th350. It also has a 10 bolt chevy limited slip dif with 3.42 gears. I plan on finishing the controls, making the dors open, and then pulling it completely apart putting the engine back forward where it should ha been and trying to figure out how to do away with the transmission hump. It might take some thinking since the body is channeled. Any help with this subject will be much appreciated. I will post pictures. And progress as it happens. After this car I plan on building one from the ground up as much as possible from scratch. One thing I wish tjis car had was the stretchd body. I'm a big guy and need all the rom I can get ;)

I don't mind the front end out a little. The motor to body looks about right. You do have enough room to get one of Spirits stretched bodies ( stretched 5") and still use that frame if you move the motor. I just bought their body and am very impressed with it. I couldn't afford to get the one with doors, so I'm making my own. Check them out, they support this forum and have a link at the top of the page.

I believe I will have enough room. I also toyed with the idea of stretching it myself. I'm not sure which direction I'm going to go. I could cut the body build a frame the glass it in.
I'm in no hurry.
