4 bar rear suspension question

What would be the longest I could go on the lower bars made out of 1" x .125 DOM? This will be on a small V6 powered vehicle. I'd like to go with 36" bars, but I'm thinking that might be too long for the material.

It would be my opinion,A four bar tends to push and pull on the bars rather than a Ladder type bar that tries to raise in the front so the stresses are different. I would get the .188 wall tube that can be direct threaded and I think it would be all right at that length. The .125 is for me marginal at any length, just my opinion.

We use 1" dom with a .219" wall. Very strong stuff.
