casting on master cylinder

The hump on the bottom middle of the mustang 2 MC. Is ok to grind it off or take it down some?

I thought that I answered this post somewhere the other day. Dunno if it was here or not.
Anyway, If there are no passages going down into the hump, I would see no damage. Just make sure it is not a passage. I would take my time grinding, so not to build up heat so much it may distort or do damage to internal parts.

W/o tearing down the m-c , I'd have no way of knowing ???
