Not much to do while I wait for a part to arrive, so I dressed up the radiator cap last night. I wonder how long it will take my wife to notice the piece I took off an office desk lamp...

I wonder what's going to happen when she FINDS that piece on the car? LOL !!!

IMG_1848.jpg It only took her 23.5 hours to notice the lamp....everything is cool, she said she hates that lamp anyway.

In the late 70's during college Dow Corning came out with silicone sealer that was safe to aquariums. They also
published some plans for a 45 gallon hexagon tank that used the affordable 1/4" plate glass, anything bigger got
expensive. So I built one and latter acquired a 55 gallon rectangle aquarium, I had 100 gallons of salt water fish
and loved it. I'll never want fresh again. It was an education in chemistry also.

My lovely daughter, while practicing gymnastics on the couch, kicked the side of my 90 gal that is upstairs... broke the seal... I was downstairs when the water started dripping out of the can lights in the kitchen... thanks for reminding me! Lol...

We tried to put some radiator caps on that I made , not much luck so far, I had made 0ne has 3 wrenchs welded on ,one has a vise grip welded , one has a piston welded on from a weed eater, plus others. we will keep trying to get posted.

Funny .....LOL!!!

I lived on the 2nd floor of married student housing at the time and was pretty nervous the first time I
filled it with water. Scared the pee out of the wife when I yelled something like "Oh NO!!!" False alarm!
