Marine grade or not

Do I need to use marine grade plywood for the floor or can I use exterior plywood?

The only difference in the two is in the amount of plugs and voids in the laminations. same glue etc. so I would say no, you don't need marine grade plywood.

Northstar T is correct. Marine plywood does not have interior voids as might be found in exterior grade. I used exterior grade to build a sailboat back in 2000. Wood covered with fiberglass. Sold it this past June and hull still looked as good as the day it was first launched.

We used exterior grade plywood and coated it several times with fiberglass resin. Worked well. I couldn't see paying all that extra $$ on the marine grade.
