Interesting, quirky builds. Are the cycle fenders required by Australian law?

I like the first one a lot, fenders and all. I think body-color trim looks better than chrome.
Ian appears a little slow to respond so I will for him blyndgesser. 
Unfortunately, yes, in Australia we have to wear mudguards/fenders/cycle guards on all tyres. Sorts kills the look of a few of our cars, but you gets that. You would be amazzed at how many guys forget how to weld when it comes to making the gurds over here though. Damn things keep falling off all the time. Some cars the guards fall off, even before they have left the shed.
