I have good friends and family who have and do serve. My nefew, who is the same age as my son and spent much of his child hood staying with us and is like my second son is an active duty ranger. When I see stuff like that, it reminds me of what many take for granted and forget. Some of those guys endure unimaginable events as part of their routine, even the ones who avoid physical injury are forever changed, and the fact that our country seemingly cares more for the people who are destroying our way of life than those who fight to preserve it makes my blood boil. Sorry for my semi political rant!
