Been lurking for a while and decided to join. Have wanted to build a T-bucket since I was a kid. I come from a dirt track racing family. At the ripe of age of 58, decided to finally build my T-bucket. Only twist is I want it to have a dirt track flavor. Will post pics in a thread.... as the build goes along.

Welcome, I know we're your coming from. I raced dirt cars in the northeast and I am incorporating dirt car twists in my bucket, like front and rear bumpers that are on dirt modifieds, quick disconnect steering wheel and long acre gauges.I thought about taking an old modified chassis and modifying it to a two seater, which in hindsight might have been easier. Good luck.

Welcome from St Louis! What are your plans for the power train?
I have a Ford 300 INline 6 cylinder mated to a Toploader manual 3-speed. Will have a 9 -inch Ford rear end with gears in the 3.89 range. Will post pics when I get to 10 post per the forum rules..
