Reinforcing Rear Radius Rods

I know that most places sell their rear radius rods with the little Z welded in. But does anyone reinforce theirs? Like solid centers perhaps? Does anyone have any pics? I can't find anything.

The rationale for gussets in the rear radius rods is to add stiffness to counteract the torque applied to the rear axle. Without them, you can bend them up pretty easily under hard acceleration. No gussets for the front ones, because you want them to flex with front axle movement. And I've never seen anyone use 'solid centers.'

I think the connection should be close to the center of the rods. If you use thicker tubing you don’t need gussets.
I was thinking something similar to this. Would it kinda turn them into a ladder bar type setup? im just spitballing,,apologize for any dumb questions lol

Wouldn't you need to have some slight amount of flex as the distance between the ends will vary slightly with the angle the pinion is adjusted to . . . .
