I need to locate some rubber trim that I can use around the fiberglass trunk lid of my 27.I'm not sure of what type would work best.Thanks for any information

I bought my trunk weatherstripping from a vendor at a local swapmeet. Not sure from who. It is a universal type, "D" in shape with the flat part being glued down. It works pretty good. As all of the glass 27 bodies I've seen have different trunk lips, I'd sketch out what would work best and do some internet research. There are a lot of universal weatherstripping available. JC Whitney has some and Softseal is a big manufacturer of the stuff. I would recommend using the glue down rubber stuff over any stick on or foam type. I do have a little left and can take a closeup of what I used tomorrow if you want. Until then, here's an installed pic:

Contact this company: http://www.soffseal.com/store/main.aspx. They used to have a sample pack of the most commonly used seals for street rods. That is how I made my selection.

try this one I think rubber would work better than foam. JMO look under universal
