Got a glass radiator shell and since I lowered the rad I chopped the shell. Be aware they ain't square and the sides will move in. Didn't think that would happen to a glass item.'

' I did a ton of work on my "32' shell including making the hood lip which a lot of them don't have and split it to
widen so that the peak would remain.. whew

Fiberglass is a funny animal....it can always do the unexpected.

I had to make various forms and braces to hold things in place while fabricating and modifying my tub and components. Glass does strange things as it cures, it can draw up, twist, etc... brace it, clamp it, reinforce it, whatever it takes to make it behave... there are methods to assist in avoiding some of it, various techniques with the fabric in corners, etc... It’s definitely a skill that takes some practice to achieve desired results.
