Hope everyone is ready for some great cruising. I'm looking at runs in the surrounding area. There are more things to do than we have time to cover.
I'm sure we will run Hwy 129 " Tail of The Dragon" while we are there. This can be ran as a single run out and back 40 miles one way or can be included in a full day with additional stops of Fontana Dam/Visitors center, proceed around the Smokey Mnt Expressway to Bryson City for a stop, proceed to Cherokee NC for a stop, over the Mountain through New Found Gap, back down the Mountain towards Gatlinburg through little river rd and back to Townsend. Thats a 150 mile circle.
We will cruise through the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail for some Cool Mountain air and flowing Mountain streams with plenty of wooden bridges and pull offs for photos.
The Cherohala Skyway loop is a possibility also 160 mile total.
Just throwing some ideas out there. I Look forward to hearing Everyone's thoughts.
