VIN# plate placement

Where did you guys in Florida attach your vin plate? I don't have a door jamb.

Thanks Spanky. I think they say to attach it to the door jamb here but there isn't one. I'll have to give a call to the DMV and hope the person I talk to understands that I need to attach it to the frame or body and give the OK.

Mine is titled as a studabaker, from memory, not sure what part they used that matched the vin, perhaps the old steering controls or such. I figured I’d cross that bridge when I get there. I won’t have it inspected since it’s already titled, but I thought about having a vin tag made for it as I haven’t located any such animal.

Put mine on passenger side top frame rail just because of the steering column. Don't know if it matters
