'66 Mustang Rad

I bought a '66 Mustang rad - V8 version from Autozone last Aug. Because of the way it was packed, I couldn't see that the filler cap is about 3" off center. Is there more than one type of this rad? Anyone successfully deal with this problem without unloading it?

If you can find a "good old boy" radiator shop he can relocate it for you.

As RailRoad said... a good ole boy will fix ya up. Just had the one done for me for $35....

You could have the filler neck moved to a spot off the back side for easier mantainence.

I just had my rad. cleaned,checked,filler neck moved to the back side and changed to a 90 degree filler and changed out the hose fittings to the bigger ones for a V8 and it only cost me $80

I like the idea of moving it to the backside. Then the shell doesn't become an issue.

Thanks for that pic akitagandy. Did you also have that hose outlet moved to the center or is that the way your rad came?
