AI is the most recent 'that will fix everything' buzz. Judging from history, it will be free at first, until it gets entrenched, then the true costs will be tallied and handed down to the consumers and workers. Think Photobucket, the dotcom bubble and read up on the data centers and how they are gobbling up power and water even now.
It is interesting and fun, but it also is a tool for the big profit centers to extract more time and money from the average person. That just hasn't been implemented yet. They are still in the data gathering mode.
