About a year I went through same deal and read all I could on the internet about them and it seems that the old fashion craftsman inductive timing light was better than all the new fashion dial digital deals today I had to go on ebay and buy one due to sears doesn't make them any more. I'll try and find my findings and post them for you
John
I bought one and it lasted about four minutes. Pretty cool how it works though. Good concept, but now I have a battery powered inductive one and it works great.
Yep, I used them, fancy dial, really, if you use just a plain one, you can see the advance curve just fine....That dial will get you into trouble....
I'm with Mike, Why complicate things, mess with the dial, get your timing off....
It ranks right up there with a air powered grease guns....really, how hard is it to cycle a greasegun? In a Oilchange place or a maint. bay at a trucking co, yes, its good.
