Any good cruises in Cleveland Ohio?

Im headed to cleveland from chicago this weekend. I'll be dragging the T behind me if it aint raining.

I wanted to hit the Dog and Suds in Elyria on sat but I have a wedding on sat to attend.

SO, I may be open to take a cruise sun,mon, tues, weds.

I hear theres one in Solon, not sure what day,

Try cruisintimes.org. They have a good list of shows in Ohio so you might find something there. Look to the left side of the page as you scroll down. There is also the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland as well as the Football Hall of Fame in Canton (30 min south). Cedar Park Amusements is just west of Cleveland too. And don't forget a nice trip to the Summit Racing Store in Tallmadge, Ohio, just a few miles east of Akron.

Another place in Barberton, Oh is Winks Drive in too. Sorry they are all "around" Cleveland and not in Cleveland. These are just the places I know of. I am not from there just working in Ohio and these are some of the places I have found.

Where exactly are you going to be

there are hundreds of shows going on during that time period
SOLON is one of the best on Tuesday nite 5pm til 9pm
I can give you many other shows for the other days

Everywhere, Ha Ha.

Im originally from the area. Born and rasied on the west side. Moved away for work almost 15 yrs ago.
Ive lived in Cleveland ,Rocky River, Strongsville, Columbia Station, And Parma.
I'll be at my sister's in North Ridgeville, My youngest son in Brecksville, My oldest sons in Berea (where the car will be parked while Im not driving it)
I'll be visiting friends in Brunswick and my wifes relatives in Mentor.
Days and times are all yet to be determined. LOL
Its gonna be a quick 5 or 6 days for sure.

If the Solon deal is on tuesday, that definetly sounds doable.

Anything happening on sunday?

There are several

I have been to the CHILI'S in macedonia
Small show but some nice cars --5-9 pm

I have also beeen to the QUAKER STEAK & LUBE show in SHEFFIELD
Large show lots of nice cars

There are also shows in Chardon , Ravenna, Kent , Vermilion, Aurora,

This should be a real good one

Registration 8:30 -12 noon

show 9-3

You can go to this one and then catch the Macedonia show from 5-9

A cruise night in Solon Ohio


I think the 2 Im gonna try and squeeze in are the Quaker Steak and Lube on sun night in Sheffield ( by my sisters)

AND

The Solon Square cruise on tues night (near my youngest son)

I would love to do more but time is of short supply everytime we come to Cleveland. The wife wants to visit EVERYONE !! LOL

The Solon Cruise in is sponsored by the ROCK N ROLL CAPITAL STREET MACHINES Club

It is at Rte, 43 & Harper Rd

It goes from 5-9 pm

you have to get there early though , they usually have up to 4-500 cars every TUESDAY nite

It is behind the movie theatre --

Gotcha !!!

I thought I read somewhere it was at the Solon Square but your right, the address they give on their website puts them by the theater,hotel, resturant right off of 43 and harper.

I already told the wife not to make any plans for tues evening / night. :popcorn:
 
Its been raining for the last few days here in cleveland BUT

I will be at the Solon Cruise tonight if any of you cleveland folk read this and are there..... stop by the T with the Illinois plates and say HI !
