Called the local tow company yesterday. They want $75 to put my 1928 Buick rolling frame on the flat bed and $3 a mile (40 mile trip) to deliver it.

Any body have a trailer and want to make an easy $100.

Let me know.

Everybody I know with a trailer either tells me it is buried in snow or it is to muddy to get to.

Try posting it on Uship you get quotes the same day usually.

If you have enough weight over the front axle( ie engine weight) a tow bar would work. I've pulled many that way. I have even straped bags of sand in the front to get it to track and not drag....just a thought.....ruggs

What about U Haul they have trailers to rent and you could get it yourself.

This all is starting to sound like 4 take-off tires and a tow bar would be the cheapest way out, Its only 40 miles. I rented from U-haul before, I had to exsplain that I wanted to rent not buy..........ruggs

With 21" rubber and wood spoke rim I really don't want to flat tow it.

I tried U haul they did not have any trailers that could haul anything bigger then a metro.

Just check Craig's list for a used car hauler trailer. I saw one there a while back for $100... Then you are set for the future...
