I have a C-6 mated to a 390 FE no problem.

Double check how long or short your driveshaft will be ... I started with a C6 and the driveshaft would have been less than 4" ... put in a C4 and driveshaft is 71/2" center to center. Still pretty short and with a 9" Currie rearend, it is off center which creates quite an angle at the rear housing.

Well I'm planning to go with ron's stretched frame and bucket. so that should get me a lil more space. I was really concerned with trans hump, only one way too find out. guess I'll just take the dive in find out.

On the car that I am rebuilding we had to cut the hump out and build a new tunnel. The C6 is wide and tall, but it is possible to use with a little imagination and some fiberglass.

I started off with a C6 behind my 460 but it really took up alot of foot room so I switched to a FMX and saved tons of room .Hope this helps.Kip
